Former DROWNING POOL Singer Joins SOIL Onstage In Florida: Photos Available
August 29, 2005Former DROWNING POOL singer Jason "Gong" Jones joined SOIL onstage during the closing song, "Halo", of the Chicago band's performance at the Tommy Lawrence Arena on the Volusia County Fairgrounds in Deland, Florida on Saturday (August 27). Also appearing on the bill were A.M. CONSPIRACY, the new Orlando, Florida-based rock band fronted by Jones. Check out pictures at this location.
SOIL, whose former singer, Ryan McCombs, was recently named the new frontman of DROWNING POOL, are expected to release the follow-up to last year's "Redefine" in early 2006 through an as-yet-undetermined label. The group's current lineup includes singer AJ Cavalier, who has previously fronted the California-based DIESEL MACHINE (also featuring DAMAGEPLAN frontman Patrick Lachman on guitar).
